Israeli forces killed early Tuesday a young Palestinian man near the Kharsa junction, south of Doura, in the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli forces opened fire at the 21-year-old youth, killing him on the spot.
Israeli forces prevented Palestinian Red Crescent team and journalists from accessing the area.
The body of the deceased was taken to an unknown place.
Raising people's hackles by the incident, people massed and clashed with Israeli forces who in turn fired tear gas bombs.
Scores of people suffered from gas inhalation.
Confrontations are still going on and Israeli snipers were deployed on rooftops.
