Israeli forces assault Palestinian women near al-Aqsa Mosque

Israeli occupation forces assaulted on Thursday the Palestinian women gathering near Al Aqsa Mosque.
The assault took place while some Israeli settlers were trying to storm the courtyards of Al Aqsa Mosque through Mughrabi Gate amid tight security protection from Israeli occupation forces.
Tensions have been running high in the West Bank, especially in the precincts of the holy mosque after Israel’s imposition in August of restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers into the mosque compound.
Since then, over 100 Palestinians and 20 Israelis have been killed.
