Israel releases Imam of Aqsa mosque after several-hour detention

The Imam of the Aqsa mosque was released Friday, several hours after being arrested.
The Israeli police arrested Imam of the Aqsa mosque Mohamed Selim immediately after Friday prayers.
An official of the Palestinian Awqaf ministry said that the Israeli police insisted on arresting the Imam.
In a statement, the Israeli police said that Selim was accused of incitement in the Friday sermons.
