Israeli forces Tuesday detained six Palestinians during predawn raids across Hebron district in the southern West Bank, said security sources.
Forces detained Qasem Abu Sneneh, 27 a former detainee, and Mu'taz al-Ju'beh, 23, from Hebron city.
They also detained Ahmad al-Hih, 22, Mahmoud al-Haddush, 20, and Tareq Abu Fara, 20, after breaking into and ransacking their families’ houses in Surif town, northwest of the city.
Forces also raided Dura town, south of the city, where they detained Kayed al-Fasfous, whose brother, Mahmoud, has started a hunger strike against his administrative detention.
Imprisoned in the Israeli desert Israeli jail of Naqab, Mahmoud, together with five other detainees, started an open-ended hunger strike in protest of their detention without charge or trial.
This brought the total number of Palestinians detained since overnight to 13.
