Israeli occupation authorities on Thursday closed the Karam Abu Salem crossing, between the southern Gaza Strip and Israel, for Jewish holidays.
Chairman of the committee for the coordination of the entry of goods into Gaza, Raed Fattouh, said that Israeli authorities informed the Palestinian side about the closure decision, which was taken because of the celebrations of the so called "Jewish New Year".
"The crossing will be opened on Sunday," Fattouh added.
