Fearing an Israeli attack, Iran has bolstered its defenses around its nuclear sites, World Tribune reported on Wednesday.
According to a report on Israel’s Channel 10 news, Teheran is particularly worried about an attack before a possible approval of the nuclear deal by the US Congress this month and has raised its alert level to a maximal level.
Iran recently unveiled new radar systems and has carried out a number of drills including testing anti-aircraft missiles above the Bushehr reactor.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told officials at the Khatam ol-Anbia Air Defense Base in Tehran that they “should permanently enhance your preparedness and options for confronting different threats.”
