Israeli occupation forces (IOF) invaded, on Sunday, al-‘Eesawiyya town, in occupied East Jerusalem, searched and ransacked several homes, before kidnapping three minors.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan (Silwanic) said the IOF kidnapped Majd Marwan Dari, 15, Fadi Rafat al-‘Eesawy, 14, and Shadi Odeh, 17, before moving them to interrogation centers.

In Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, the IOF invaded the city with dozens of military jeeps, searched homes and kidnapped a minor and a former political prisoner.

Mohammad Awad, media spokesperson of the Popular Committee in Beit Ummar, said the IOF invaded various areas in the town, including its center, ar-Tarbeeqa and al-Khalla areas, before storming several homes, and violently searching them.

Awad added that the IOF soldiers interrogated many young Palestinian men, and kidnapped a minor, identified as Jalal Nayef Sleibi, 14, and a former political prisoner, identified as Yousef Ibrahim Awad, 23.

In addition, the Israeli soldiers invaded al-‘Azza refugee camp, north of Bethlehem, injured one Palestinian, and kidnapped three others.

Local medical sources said the IOF soldiers shot a young man, 22, with a live round in his thigh, after invading the refugee camp, and clashing with the local residents, who hurled stones at the IOF jeeps.

The wounded Palestinian suffered a moderate injury, and was moved to a local hospital for treatment.

After invanding and searching many homes in the refugee camp, the IOF kidnapped a young man identified as Mohammad Issa al-Barbari, 22.

In Beit al-Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem, the IOF broke into and searched many homes and kidnapped two Palestinians, identified as Amin Ali Thawabta, 17, and Mousa Yousef Deeriyya, 26.

Eyewitnesses said the IOF soldiers invaded the town from its eastern part, and were largely deployed around its mosque, before breaking into many homes and searching them.

Israel is currently holding 7,000 Palestinians in its jails and prisons, according to prisoners’ rights organization Addameer, and 700 are being indefinitely held in administrative detention — internment without trial or charge.
