Hamas has slammed Israeli occupation forces for targeting he schools run by the UN Palestinian Refugee Agency (UNRWA) during Israeli aggression on the enclave in 2014.
This represents clear evidence on war crimes committed by Israeli occupation against the Palestinian civilians, said spokesman for the group Sami Abu Zuhri.
The leaders of Israeli occupation should be brought to international courts, he said.
According to the UN report, the schools were vacant at the time but Ban noted that "the fact that they were used by those involved in the fighting to store their weaponry and, in two cases, probably to fire from, is unacceptable."
Hamas official called on the Palestinian authority to make use of the report in prosecuting Israel before international courts.
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said in a letter to the UN Security Council said: "I deplore the fact that at least 44 Palestinians were killed as a result of Israeli actions and at least 227 injured at United Nations premises being used as emergency shelters."
