Central Committee of Palestinian Fatah movement called on its rival movement Hamas to immediately implement the agreements inked to end the division and not to search for new agreements as this will only waste time.
This came during a meeting of the committee in Ramallah on Tuesday under Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas where the latest Palestinian political and internal developments in addition to Fatah situation were discussed.
Fatah Spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said that the meeting was held in presence of Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah who presented the efforts of the government to unify the Palestinian ranks and prepare for the general election.
The committee lauded the efforts of the government to put away all the hindrances set by Hamas, Abu Rudeineh said.
Abu Rudeineh asserted that Fatah rejects all shapes of settlements in Palestine.
Fatah expressed astonishment about Hamas’ rejection to participate in a national unity government in spite of asking for this repeatedly, he said.
