Afghanistan warns of large influx of militants via Pakistan borders

A large number of militants are flocking into Afghanistan coming from Pakistan in an attempt to destabilize the northern states of the country, an Afghan official said on Wednesday.
Many Afghan soldiers are waging bitter fight with militants of Taliban in Kunduz province of Afghanistan, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Sediq Sediqi said.
About 200 militants were killed and 12 Afghan soldiers injured in clashes between the army troops and Taliban fighters in Kunduz province, he added.
