
The US-led coalition continued to strike Daesh targets in Syria and Iraq, with a total of nine airstrikes on Saturday and Sunday, the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) said in a statement.
In Syria four airstrikes were carried out near two areas, Raqqa, where an airstrike destroyed an armored personnel carrier, and Ain Al Arab (Kobane), where three airstrikes stuck an Daesh tactical unit, three Daesh vehicles and destroyed three fighting positions.
In Iraq, five airstrikes were carried out near two areas: Mosul, where three airstrikes destroyed two Daesh excavators and an Daesh shipping container, and Ramadi, where two airstrikes destroyed an Daesh homemade explosive cache, an Daesh heavy machine gun and an Daesh building.
