7000 Palestinians in Israeli Jails

Some 7,000 Palestinian prisoners are currently in Israeli jails and detention centers, a statement by the Palestinian Prisoner Club said Sunday.
Marking the Palestinian Prisoner's day, the statement revealed that more than 400 of these inmates are children, while 69 of which are women, (Petra) news agency reported.
The figures also showed a rise in the number of people held under administrative detention which reached 750 Palestinian prisoners.
At least 700 ill Palestinian prisoners including 30 of which are held in Al-Ramleh prison's clinic, the statement said.
