1 killed, 9 wounded in clashes with Israeli soldiers in Gaza

A Palestinian was killed and nine others were injured on Friday afternoon in clashes with Israeli soldiers stationed on the border between the eastern Gaza Strip and Israel, medics said.
According to dpa, Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qedra told reporters that Hani Wahdan, 22, was killed after Israeli soldiers shot him during the clashes east of al-Shuja'eya neighbourhood to the east of Gaza City.
Wahdan's body was taken to Shifa Hospital in the city.
The spokesman also said that nine other young men were shot and wounded, three of whom sustained minor injuries.
