Planning Minister Ashraf el-Arabi

Planning Minister Ashraf el-Arabi asserted on Monday need for statistics and data to help take political decisions at the proper time.
"Official statistics are indispensable," Arabi told a conference organized by the state statistics body.
He hailed figures provided by the body to smooth the duties of the government.
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab attended the gathering
