Government serious about restoring position of official media
Head of RTU Essam el-Amir

Head of the Radio and Television Union (RTU) Essam el Amir praised the recent visit to the RTU headquarters in Maspero by Prime Minister Ibrahim Malhab.
In statements Monday, he said the visit proves that the government is keen on restoring the position of the state-run media.
He said the RTU is conducting financial and structural reforms with protecting the rights of the workers.
