
Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Basendwa telephoned on Sunday the Special Adviser to the United Nations Secretary-General, Jamal Benomar, to congratulate him on the success of his recent surgery he underwent at a hospital in New York. During the conversation, Basendwa expressed happiness over Benomar’s successful heart surgery and wished him good health. Wishing him full recovery, the Prime Minister hoped Benomar continue his efforts and active role along with political parties in order to overcome any disagreements, make the comprehensive national dialogue conference a success and move towards building a new Yemen. For his part, Benomar expressed deep thanks and appreciation for the Prime Minister on his good feelings, stressing that the surgery was successful.
