Yemeni PM meets Somali Portland state president

Prime Minister Mohamed Salem Basindwa met here on with President of the Somali Portland State Abdul Rahman Mahmoud, who is visiting Yemen currently. During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed by the Somali Portland State's President on the results of the talks he held with senior security, health and fishery officials in the government. Basindwa accentuated Yemen's support to Somalia and to all efforts to restore security and stability, stressing that the Somali refugees are enjoying all care and respect in Yemen. Portland State President praised the effective role Yemen plays in order to restore security and stability in Somalia, expressing his confidence that Yemen will continue is role to achieve all that sought by the Somali people of stability and security.
