
Yemen and Somalia signed here on Wednesday a security cooperation agreement in fields of refugees and security training, combating terrorism, piracy, organized crime and smuggling. The agreement was signed by Interior Minister Abdul-Qader Qahtan and Somali Interior Minister Abdelkarim Hussein Guled. Qahtan praised the agreement, which will enhance security cooperation relations between Yemen and Somalia and strengthen the security and stability in the region. Guled thanked Yemen for all support provided for the Somali people, praising the spirit of brotherhood and understanding prevailed in the discussions between the two sides. Moreover, the Somali Interior Minister visited to the command of the special security forces to get acquainted with and benefit from the experiences of the special security forces in training and equipping the Somali police.
