UAE welcomes accession of National Children's Advocacy Centre to VGT

The Ministry of Interior, the current Chair of the Virtual Global Taskforce, VGT, has welcomed the accession of the National Children’s Advocacy Centre, NCAC, as a new member of the organisation.

Major-General Dr. Nasser Lakhraibani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and VGT Chairman, said that the NCAC represents a pioneering model in dealing with children's protection from abuse and providing them with everything they need. He also referred to the aspirations of the ministry to cooperate and exchange knowledge with the centre.

Dr. Al Nuaimi emphasised the keenness of the UAE to provide support for the VGT to achieve its aims in strengthening cooperation in preventing crimes against children globally, stressing that the organisation continues its leading role in fighting against child sexual abuse through the Internet worldwide.
