Syria: 38 rebels turn themselves in to authorities in Aleppo

Thirty-eight people involved in bloodshed in Syria turned themselves in to the authorities and had their files settled in Aleppo. Governor of Aleppo Mohammad Wahid Aqqad called upon those who were misled into getting involved in the events to benefit from the amnesty decree so as to get back on the right track and be active elements in building and defending the homeland, SANA reported. He stressed that it is everybody’s responsibility to contribute to defending Syria against the terrorist groups, voicing confidence in achieving victory over terrorism thanks to the bravery of the Syrian army members. For his part, Secretary of Aleppo branch of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party Ahmad Saleh Ibrahim asserted that the homeland is open to all of its people and needs their efforts for its defense.
