Sudanese FM lauds Qatar's role in highlighting Arab and Islamic civilization

Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Karti has expressed gratitude and appreciation to HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani for inviting Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir to attend the 4th Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations in Doha.  Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the sidelines of his participation in the Forum today, the Sudanese Minister said that Qatar has a significant and huge in highlighting the Arab and Islamic civilization and culture, and also in openness to others and benefit from their culture.  The host of such events refutes the West allegations, in the contrary, it reflects the region openness and keenness on the alliance of civilizations, and the title of this forum is enough evidence, he added.  Minister Karti noted that Sudan's participation in the Doha forum provides huge opportunity to present what Sudan has achieved through dialogue and peace, underlining that the country has accomplished many achievements in the areas of peace and development.
