Source: Palestinian factions visit to Egypt to focus on reconciliation file

A high-profile source said the current visit to Egypt by delegations from the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine, the Democratic Front for Liberation of Palestine and the Palestinian popular resistance movement deals with the Palestinian reconciliation file.

In statements, the source said the Palestinian leadership will send a delegation from Fatah movement under Azzam Al Ahmed while Hamas will send two delegations one from inside Gaza under Mahmoud al Zahhar and Khalil Al Haya and the second from abroad under Moussa Abu Marzouq.

The source asserted that the delegations started arriving in Cairo upon an invitation from Egypt's general intelligence to attend a Palestinian dialogue called by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to end the Palestinian division.

According to the source, some Arab countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar are applying pressures on the Palestinian factions to end division and achieve reconciliation.
