
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HRH Prince Saud Al-Faisal, left Bahrain this morning upon concluding an official visit to the Kingdom during which His Royal Highness conveyed a message to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from his brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud. Prince Al-Faisal was seen off by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, who expressed the Kingdom's pride in the visit which comes within the frame of mutual keenness on boosting and consolidating solid brotherly bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples, and an opportunity for consultation, talks and coordination of stances regarding current and latest developments in the region, and praised cooperation between the two wise leaderships following the steps of the fathers and forefathers and emanating from a firm belief in the significance of unity, integration and cohesive bonds for the progressive march of development and prosperity and to surmount all challenges and obstructions which might undermine the security and stability of the region. His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs cited the genuine, unwavering supportive stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia vis-à-vis the Kingdom of Bahrain and expressed his appreciation of the leading role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in augmenting the blessed development march of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and supporting the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations.
