Saudi Arabia proud of sharia as its constitution

Saudi Arabia is proud of Sharia (Islamic law) as its constitution and an approach to achieve justice in the society, said Head of Human Rights Commission Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Aiban.Addressing the High Level Segment of the 25th Session of the UN Human Rights Council, Bandar underlined his country's commitment to international treaties and conventions on human rights.Bandar, however, reiterated commitment to the sovereignty of the state's right to apply their domestic legislation that ensures equal rights for all parties.
