Qatar welcomes holding "friends of syria" conference

Qatar has welcomed Tunisia's plan to host the Friends of Syria Conference on February 24. During its meeting today, the Qatari Cabinet called for the need to mobilise support for such a major conference so as to put an end to the on-going "bloodshed" in Syria and meet the "legitimate" demands of the Syrian people.
