Qatar, South Africa hold official talks

A round of official talks kicked off at the Emiri Diwan premises here before noon Tuesday between HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and the President of the Republic of South African, HE President Jacob Zuma. The two sides reviewed over the talks relations between the two countries and ways of bolstering and developing them in the several fields. A number of regional and international issues of common concern were also taken up. The session of talks was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers on the Qatari side while Their Excellencies the members of the official South African delegation attended on the other side. Later HH the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the distinguished guest and the accompanying delegation. (QNA)
