Public warned to expect noise and excitement during Corniche military exercise

The Armed Forces advises the public to expect noise around Abu Dhabi Corniche as helicopters, fighter jets, armoured personnel carriers and fast attack boats prepare for the Union Fortress live military demonstration.
The event takes place on March 2 at 4.30pm and is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to ensure a good viewing point.
Organised by the Armed Forces, the Union Fortress live military demonstration showcases the courage, dedication and professionalism of the UAE’s highly trained soldiers as they engage in a sophisticated, sea-borne hostage rescues including personnel and expertise from all branches of the armed forces, state news agency Wam said.
The event is an opportunity for all people in the UAE to witness an action-packed military demonstration up close and from the soldier’s point of view, while celebrating the strength of the Armed Forces.
