Police seize unlicensed weapons in 24 hours
Cairo - Arab Today

The Public Security Sector at the Interior Ministry continued its nationwide campaigns to arrest outlaws and holders of unlicensed weapons and to restore security.

The campaigns, which were launched upon directives of Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghafar, resulted in seizing 77 unlicensed weapons and arresting four gangs over the past 24 hours.

It also resulted in seizing 156 pieces of cold steel, 225 drug cases and 405 unlicensed motorcycles, and nabbing 56 fugitives. 

The forces also returned seven stolen cars and seized 26 shotguns, 51 guns and 312 bullets.

The security apparatuses notified the prosecution to open probes.
