Manama - BNA
Eleven saboteurs will appear before the Public Prosecution after being arrested in acts of violence and vandalism in many parts of Bahrain , Bahrain's Public Security Chief Major General Taraq Al Hassan said. Vandals set fire to wood pieces in Hamad Town and fled the scene, sparking fire which spread to a citizen’s car damaging it nearly entirely. A group of saboteurs committed acts of sabotage in Ras Romman using Molotov Cocktails, iron bars and stones and attacking security officers and damaging the windows of two private cars by throwing stones at them, according to Bahrain news agency (BNA) A group of vandals also targeted many vital highways, like Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman, Shaikh Isa bin Salman and the public road in Northern Sehla, torching tires to disrupt traffic movement, terrorize citizens and undermine public and private interests. Relevant authorities intervened on the spot to secure the afore-mentioned roads and reopen them for traffic movement. The rest of the perpetrators are being tracked down, BNA reported.
