Peaceful march in Jordan calls for reform

A peaceful mass march erupted here after Friday mass prayers in front of Al Husseini Mosque in downtown Amman with the Islamic Movement , The Islamic Labour Front Party and Other Opposition and Youth Movements participating. The participants called for political, economic, and social reforms . They also stressed the need to fight corruption, calling for a new election law and introducing amendments to the constitution. The jordanian security forces imposed a security cordon to isolate such a march from another one taking place at the same time for fear of any possible clashes.
