During its session on Monday, the House of Representatives under Speaker Ali Abdel Aal discussed a number of urgent statements on several public issues.

MP Mohamed Abdel Ghani urged the formation of a fact-finding committee on the death of citizen Magdy Makin after being held at Amireya Police Station.

MP Mohamed Wahballah wondered about measures taken by the government to provide foreign currency for imported medications, warning of a crisis in imported drugs in the coming period.

The lawmaker called on the health ministry to release a statement about measures it adopted to import needed medicines, especially after President Abdel Fattah el Sisi allocated 186 million dollars for this purpose.
