Palestinians launch campaign to support sick prisoners

Palestinian Minister of Prisoners Issa Qaraqea said on Wednesday Palestinians would launch tomorrow a campaign for supporting sick Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails. The Palestinian move aims to expose Israeli violations of Palestinian prisoners' human rights in order to pressure Israel to respect the principles and rules of human rights, he said in remarks. The campaign came following the reported serious deterioration of Palestinian prisoners' health conditions, the minister pointed out. Israeli prisons decline to provide medical care to Palestinian prisoners who suffer from different diseases.
