Palestine to chair next Arab League Session

Palestine will chair the next Arab League session, scheduled for September 13 and 14 and which will meet at the level of foreign ministers, Thursday said an Arab League statement. It said the latest developments in several Arab countries will be the main topic in the closed meeting of the Arab foreign ministers, particularly the Palestinian issue and the Arab-Israeli conflict. The meeting will discuss in particular Palestinian and Arab efforts to gain United Nations recognition and admission of the state of Palestinian based on the 1967 borders. It will also discuss financial support to the Palestinian Authority, among other Palestinian-related topics.
