
Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, has expressed sorrow and pain over the helicopter crash in Cameroon yesterday, which killed a number of people, including two generals from the Cameroon army.
In a statement, Al-Othaimeen said it is a source of profound disappointment. He extended his condolences to the families of the bereaved and wished the injured a quick recovery.
According to a report from AFP, the victims were taking part in a mission as part of an operation to battle Boko Haram.
