
The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, will pay a two-day visit to Ramallah on Wednesday for talks with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. In a statement, issued here on Saturday that the OIC said that the visit comes to affirm its keenness on supporting Palestine and to get acquainted with the latest developments in the Palestinian territories. The visit comes to showcase the OIC's support for Palestine to help it regain its legitimate rights and enhancing its steadfastness. During their talks, Ihsanoglu will discuss with President Mahmoud Abbas the latest developments in the Palestinian territories with emphasis on the international endeavours made to reactivate the peace process.
