OIC affirms solidarity with Saudi Arabia

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has welcomed the statement by the Saudi official source who affirmed Saudi Arabia's total rejection of any threats and attempts to undermine it, whether by threatening to impose economic sanctions, using political pressures, or repeating false accusations that will not undermine the Kingdom and its firm positions and Arab, Islamic and international status.
"The position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its centrality in international relations makes it above suspicions promoted by the media aimed to undermine its security, stability, achievements and reform process," said OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen.
Al-Othaimeen affirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a founding member of OIC and is sovereign and enjoys a high status in its Islamic environment. The Kingdom enjoys special recognition from more than 1.5 billion Muslims around the world, he added.
The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) rejected any threats and attempts against Saudi Arabia or any member state of the organization, asserting that it stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the host State, in all measures taken to protect its national reputation and security.
