The number of those killed in a shooting incident that took place Friday morning at King Faisal Airbase entrance in Al Jafr, south of Jordan, rose to three, Petra news agency quoted a military source as saying.

A third person, who was wounded during the shooting and rushed to hospital, succumbed to his wounds, the military source added.

The official source said an investigation is underway and warned against circulating the names of those involved in the incident, including the Jordanians and foreigners.
