Dr. Abdul Munim bin Mansour al-Hassani, the Minister of Information, will sponsor on Friday in the Wilayat of Bidiyah the concluding ceremony of 4th Oman Desert Marathon. The marathon kicked off last Saturday with the participation of / 200 / runners from / 26 / countries, competing for the championship title for a distance of 165 km, starting from Al Wasil Village, in the Wilayat of Bidiyah, passing through the sand dunes of the Governorate of North A’Sharqiyah, ending in Guhaid village in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu-Hassan on the Arabian Sea. The marathon is divided into six stages. The 28 km fourth round of the 165 km marathon is being held today (Tuesday)
