
A royal decree was issued Tuesday appointing Mazen Al Qadi as Minister of Interior and Yousef Al Shwarbah Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs.
The ministers took the oath of office before His Majesty King Abdullah at a ceremony, which took place at Al Husainiyeh Palace and was attended by Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour and Royal Court Chief Fayiz Tarawneh.
Earlier, royal decrees were issued accepting the resignations of outgoing interior minister Salamah Hammad, with immediate effect, and Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Khaled Kalaldeh, as of April 6.
