
Morocco is a strategic partner for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Kuwaiti ambassador Abdellatif Ali Yahya said Thursday in Rabat.
Morocco is a strategic partner for GCC, Ali Yahya said following his talks with Habib El Malki, Speaker of the House of Representatives, expressing his country’s consideration for the wisdom and insight of King Mohammed VI and for the deep reforms initiated by the Sovereign, which have earned Morocco a distinguished position on the international scene.
The Kuwaiti diplomat also highlighted the excellence of relations between Kuwait and Morocco.
For his part, Habib El Malki highlighted the distinguished relations between the two countries at all levels, including relations between legislative institutions.
During the meeting, Mr. El Malki welcomed the ties of brotherhood and mutual respect between the Moroccan and Kuwaiti peoples, expressing the importance of giving new impetus to bilateral relations in various fields, said a statement of the House.
