Beirut - Nna

Prime Minister Najib Mikati Thursday said what happened on the governmental level was not a break out of responsibilities but, on the contrary, a protection of constitutional institutions that ought to be above political quarrels. "We are resolved to carry out our path no matter how hard storms may get, so far we have succeeded to steer the Lebanese ship away from waves," he remarked. The Lebanese Premier also said that stability Lebanon witnesses is not solely within security but it is political, economic, and social noting that responsibility relies not on those who are in power but on those who are outside it also. In his word delivered on the occasion of concluding the first phase of Beirut port rehabilitation, Mikati said national unity is the sole guarantee for keeping Lebanon safe and stable. "It is unacceptable to have some limit other partners in the country within their self or party or even allies," he noted deeming governance to be of everyone's responsibility. Mikati said all officials are bound to respect institutions as they are concerned in public order. Extolling the growth of movement in Beirut port, the Premier stated that the plan to develop naval transportation is mainly based on the development of all Lebanese ports. Mikati heaped praise on Minister Ghazi Aridi's concern and follow up to such works as he expressed appreciation for the Beirut port investment committee members and chief.
