Mass opposition rallies in Aswan

Protesters stated mass protests in Aswan, demanding Egypt's President Mohamed Morsi to step down. The protesters marched main streets and squares in the Upper Egypt governorate. They were raising national flags, chanting slogans against Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood. In the meantime, hundreds of residents staged a protest to show support for the president. Opposition parties held mass demonstrations on Sunday, which marks Morsi's first anniversary in office, to call him to step down.
