Civil defense forces managed to contain a limited fire in a power cable on the rooftop of Mar Girgis Church in Mit Ghamra in Daqahlia governorate.
No Casualties or damage were reported, an official at the Interior Ministry's media center said in a statement on Wednesday.
A short circuit was behind the fire, the official said, noting that all legal measures were taken.
