
A delegation from Kuwait National Assembly, led by Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, will visit Bahrain on Sunday at an invitation by Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Mulla, Speaker of the Bahraini Council of Representatives.
Bahrain News Agency, BNA, quoted a statement of the council as saying that both sides will hold official discussions on regional and international developments and issues of common interest. Discussions will also focus on boosting bilateral parliamentary cooperation.
The Kuwaiti delegation will hold meetings with members of the Shura Council and other parties in Bahrain. The visit comes within the framework of the directives of the Representatives Council Speaker to promote parliamentary diplomacy and unify GCC stances and visions.
