
Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa took part in a meeting at Bayan Palace, in Kuwait, today between the Arab Foreign Ministers and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas who presented them with a detailed account on the Palestinian issue, the peace process and the Palestinian-Israeli direct negotiations.Talks also focused on the draft resolutions related to Palestine which will be issued at the 25th regular Arab Summit slated to be hosted by Kuwait on March 25 and 26.The Foreign Minister underscored Bahrain's unwavering stance towards the Palestinian cause, adding that a just, comprehensive and permanent peace will only be achievable with a full Israeli pullout of the Arabian lands that were occupied in 1967.He underlined the principles of the Arab Peace Initiative which call for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with its capital Eastern Jerusalem.
