
The third session of the Kuwaiti-Iraqi joint committee is set to meet here on Sunday, focusing on how to reinforce and consolidate bilateral relations. The two-day committee meeting will be headed by Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad AlSabah and Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari. Preparatory meetings were held here earlier in the day, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a news release. The joint committee will discuss several issues that concern both sides and ways and means of developing and promoting Kuwaiti-Iraqi relations, he said, adding that several bilateral agreements will be signed by both sides.
