Kuwait: Al-Barghash elected Nt''l assembly monitor

MP Abdullah Al-Barghash was elected by a majority vote as the Kuwait National Assembly Monitor in the 14th legislative term's first session on Wednesday. He gained 34 votes, sweeping aside the other contender for the post, Riyadh Al-Adsani. The monitor will carry out his role for the remainder of the legislative term's duration. Al-Barghash, 50, has been voted into the National Assembly for the first time and holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration.
