Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman payed tribute to Saudi Arabia’s fallen soldiers and honored its security services on Monday in Mina.
“We remember our heroes who sacrificed their lives,” said King Salman, and “we ask Allah to raise their rank in heaven.”
In an event attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, King Salman thanked the security services for their efforts in serving the pilgrims at this year’s Haj.
The ceremony was attended by members of the security services, government ministers, religious figures and princes as well as other dignitaries.
Earlier, the king tweeted: “Eid Al-Adha culminates our pride of serving pilgrims, and serving the Two Holy Mosques, which are our greatest blessings. I pray that Allah blesses you with a very happy and peaceful Eid and may every day ahead be filled with happiness and good health.”
