King of Bahrain extends links with Japanese emperor

King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain met here on Thursday with Japanese Emperor Akihito. During the meeting, the Bahraini King and Japanese Emperor reviewed bilateral relations and stressed means of moving them towards wider prospects in economic, commercial and investment cooperation as well as benefiting from the Japanese advanced experiences in areas of science and technology. King of Bahrain, who arrived in Tokyo Wednesday for a three-day official visit to Japan, hailed the international and regional major role of Japan in promoting and settling bases of security and peace in the Middle east and the world.
