King Hamad meets UAE President

As part of a visit to the UAE, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met in Al-Ain city today UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in the presence of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The UAE President welcomed HM the King and his accompanying delegation, wishing him a good stay in his second homeland-the UAE. HM expressed happiness about visiting the UAE and meeting Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, stressing Bahrain's constant keenness to bolster relations with the UAE for the common interests of both countries and peoples. HM the King praised the UAE's active role in promoting the GCC march and supporting Arab issues. He underscored strong ties binding Bahrain and the UAE, commending the efforts of Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in continuously providing all forms of support to Bahrain. The UAE President stressed his country's support to Bahrain, wishing it more progress and prosperity. HM attended a lunch banquet hosted in his honour by the UAE President at Al Rawdha Palace.
